Kappa Kappa Gamma joins the North Carolina State University Greek-letter community with 109 charter members
Kappa Kappa Gamma is pleased to announce its newest chapter, Eta Chi Chapter, located on the campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. This past weekend, Fraternity officers, chapter advisers, House Board members, and collegiate members from Duke University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill initiated the Eta Chi charter members into the sisterhood of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
In addition to the Installation Ceremony, weekend festivities included a dessert reception and a luncheon for all guests.
Since accepting an invitation to colonize in 2012, local and national volunteers and staff have prepared for the Colonization and Installation of Kappa’s 140th active chapter. Kappa joins 10 other National Panhellenic Conference groups at NC State.
“After four years of planning, we are so excited to officially be a part of the outstanding Greek community at NC State,” says Beth Black, Fraternity President. “Our charter members are exceptional young women who will have a wonderfully unique experience working with the other National Panhellenic Conference groups as well as establishing Kappa’s legacy on campus.”
Members will gather at the brand-new chapter house just a few blocks away from campus. The chapter will be led by their newly elected Chapter Council officers with guidance from their Chapter Consultant and alumna advisers.
